How do you deal with the challenges? Step by step... It sounds so easy and nothing special, but we so often forget this!
Since I started entrepreneurship, I have had many challenges. I notice that I regularly get stuck. It even gave me sleepless nights and a lot of stress.
Everyone has experienced this.
“There is a Chinese story where a boy is lost in a forest. He starts a conversation with a tree in the forest. The boy is lost and no longer knows his way out of the forest and is afraid.
The tree asks the boy:
“I understand that you cannot find your way to the edge of the forest from here, but you can see where you can take your next step”
“Yes,” says the boy.
The tree then asks:
“After you take your first step, can you see the next step?”
Again the boy says “Yes”.
The tree then says:
“If you just take 1 step in the same direction every time, you will see exactly where you are going with every step. Ultimately, every visible step brings you closer to the edge of the forest. Until you're completely out of it."
This is what we do with sports. My members often come from a gym. They want to lose weight or build muscle mass, but have no idea what to do. We explain this to them by letting them work on their health step by step and ultimately they arrive at their results.
Because we help them with this, they enjoy exercise again and this also supports a positive mindset!
