For example, I know that washing my hands under a hot tap is not pleasant, so I don't do it. But why do most people fail to eat healthy or set a daily step goal? Because you know that's healthy, right?
If you know it's good for you, why don't you do it?
I recognize with my own clients that they know what they should and shouldn't do, but they just can't do it. This obviously says something about motivation and consistency, but perhaps also about how much you allow yourself to achieve your goals.
Change is accompanied by resistance. Are you willing to endure this resistance?
And what would happen if it does work out and you are successful in achieving this goal?
