When you set goals, a B point that you are working towards, you think back to the actions you need to take. However, if you do not know what your starting point is, then you cannot know the actual route (the actual actions).
Think of it this way.
If you say you are in Rotterdam, but actually you are in Utrecht and I am in Eindhoven and I give you the route from Rotterdam to Eindhoven, while you are in Utrecht, you will not get to your destination. The actions may certainly be correct, but because the starting point is elsewhere, the route is incorrect, according to the outcome.
When setting goals, setting an initial situation is the most important aspect. This seems simple, but this is the hardest thing there is. What are your current patterns, what are your current beliefs, what is your relationship with yourself and with your environment, what does your environment look like, there are so many different facets that determine your starting situation and this makes it extremely difficult to actually set your course. to put.
To make it easier.
For example, you perform a Squat. Before you start you must feel the ground well under your entire foot, your knees must not be locked, the pressure point of the bar must be perpendicularly downwards, your brace must be correct, and so on. If you do not get one of these points correct, the Squat will technically go wrong and you run the risk of injuries. Then it may be the case that you go down and come up, but that the desired result is not forthcoming!
Before you set your goals, on a personal, business, relational or social level. First take a good look at your starting point, your starting situation, your point A. Once you have this clear, you can only go to B. If not, you will get lost, end up somewhere else and not create the desired result.
