Monday Master Blog: More exercise starts with less sitting

I often hear clients say “I don't have time to exercise or exercise”. I work a lot, children have to go to school, take care of others, etc.
When I go through the day with the client, there are many moments when they have time but have a different priority.

More exercise starts with less sitting! The average Dutch person spends 9 hours sitting per day, of which 2.5 hours at work.

A day consists of 24 hours, of which we sleep on average 8 hours, work 8 hours and fill in the remaining 8 hours ourselves.
With small adjustments and more conscious choices it is possible to achieve many health benefits.

Take your bike to work, get coffee on another floor, use your high, low desk and don't sit down during your lunch but take a walk.

These are all small things in everyday life that give you health benefits and increase your metabolism.

In addition, more exercise throughout the day also ensures relaxation, creativity, improved concentration and we are more productive.

So use the hours of the day to increase your exercise activities, this has much more effect than exercising for 60 minutes twice a week.

How can you integrate more exercise into your daily life?
