Once upon a time I could eat and snack whatever I wanted and I never weighed more than 70 kilos. Until I passed the age of 30, before I knew it I saw 80 kilos. In addition, a friend with in-laws who like a tasty snack didn't help either. Last year I even reached 85 kilos.
In itself that is not a problem with a height of 1.80, but unfortunately the 85 kilos consisted of 21.5% fat. I have occasionally ridden a racing bike over the past 10 years, but I also did this in periods of maximum 3 months and therefore not consistently enough for visible results.
I once made the choice to register with Fit For Free to specifically become stronger for cycling. Here I was given a standard schedule and let go inexperienced. Where I soon started to doubt myself whether I was performing the exercises correctly. I finally took the decision and sold my carbon racing bike for a nice amount and immediately afterwards I came across the Enforce advertisement on Facebook.

Started from the start with the basic techniques of all exercises. Master these first to lay a good foundation. Together with a nutrition plan where the focus was on reducing fat percentage and maintaining muscle mass.
After 4 months of indoor training, we were forced to switch to the outdoor gym. Here we started training without fixed equipment. After the switch to only separate dumbbells, kettlebells and barbells, there was again a period where the focus was on mastering all techniques.
It has now been over 7 months. With Mitchell's educational expertise, my progress has improved by leaps and bounds!
With 200% motivation, commitment and consistency on my diet, I became a lot stronger and lost 7kg of fat mass. Which means that my body fat percentage has been reduced from 21.5 back to 13%. My goal now is to build back up to 85 kg, but with a fat percentage of a maximum of 12%.
Before we start building back up to 85 kilos, we will first take a step further towards my summer figure. I went from 2200 calories to 2800 in six months. Now I have made the choice to prepare myself for the summer again on 2300 calories.
I often go to the beach with a friend who lives in Katwijk aan Zee, 300 meters from the beach. Because of this I made the choice to lose some fat so I can certainly walk around proudly (and with a small 6 pack) haha, that feels a lot better than a belly that I secretly always wanted to hide. Healthy, toned and fit, that's what we do it all for!
