Monday Master Blog: I don't like fitness

It sometimes happens that new participants come to my table and the first thing they say is; I don't like fitness! Somewhere an understandable comment.

To be able to maintain exercise in the long term, we can do one of two things;

1: Enjoy doing it.

2: Think it's important enough to do it.

Of course, I prefer to see all my participants in option 1, why? If you enjoy doing something, the step becomes a lot easier, then we don't think about it; Am I motivated enough, no, because you like it, you're looking forward to it! That is why I recommend everyone to plan other weekly sports moments in addition to the Personal Training that we provide, and this certainly does not only have to be in the gym. Start playing volleyball again, which you always loved to do, go paddling, boxing, dancing. Get that body moving and have fun doing it!

And what do I mean by option 2?

If we create something important enough for ourselves, then we just do it, then you choose that voluntary suffering in the gym, why? Because we really think it is genuinely important that it starts with a clear goal, a clear reason why we have the goal and a clear plan, as soon as we see the progression and notice the added value, it remains important enough for us to take the step back to sports. and create a healthier lifestyle, for the longer term!

And lastly, fitness doesn't have to be boring, after a long working day at the office we don't put you back on a machine that you have to sit on, we show you what your body is capable of and use the body for what it was intended for … to move!
