Monday Master Blog: Everything is better together, right?

I'm not going to tell you anything new now, because we all know by now that love goes through the stomach.

February 14, Valentine's Day, a day on which loved ones give each other extra attention with gifts, flowers, dinners with wine and, above all, many delicacies such as heart chocolates. Let's be honest: it's also difficult to say no to an evening of hanging out together on the couch with our favorite snacks. However, these moments are not the only reason for weight gain. Scientists note that the number of exercise sessions is reduced in a happy relationship. But what if I told you: leave those flowers and unhealthy chocolates aside and get off the couch together and try this.

Dating = sweating

Research shows that couples who exercise together not only feel more confident, but also stay together longer. You work together towards a pre-agreed goal(s) and you will do everything you can to motivate the other person. If only so that you can admire the results afterwards in the bedroom. You can then also use this mutual motivation for goals in daily life. For example, you can gain the discipline to start that one study.

Are there any challenges to exercising together with a partner?
The answer to your question is yes! The biggest obstacle is often the difference in level and/or goal of you and your partner. The man generally wants to spend a workout in the weight room and the woman is more likely to take a group class, do cardio or use more light weights. My advice is therefore: instead of the picnic basket, grab your yoga mat and the TRX, find a place in the park and start doing exercises with your own body weight.

No, don't worry. If you are not ready to get married yet, there are plenty of reasons to exercise together. On the other hand, taking naps together is also good for your relationship. You don't always have to be active. A good balance has a positive effect on your relationship, body and mind.
