Monday Master Blog: Knowing is different than doing & Staying consistent is key

We all know that staying consistent is necessary to achieve a goal, but unfortunately we all experience how difficult this can be.

Read below how to take the first step towards staying consistent on your path to success.

Consistency is maintaining and fulfilling agreements that we have made to ourselves or to others and continuing to repeat these tasks until we experience success. There are two major differences between the Independent Commitment or Collaborative Commitment.

The 'Independent Commitment' makes it more difficult to remain consistent, because we are easier to tell ourselves & more often accept no from (our self). Use a visible objective as motivation & ask an important question(s) for yourself (why are you doing this? and for whom?) at the start of your commitment. Then schedule 5 minutes on the same day every week to read this again and let the conscious answers that have sunk back come back to you.

The 'Collaborative Commitment' is a bit easier, here you can partly place your commitment with someone else. This way you ensure that you feel committed to honoring the agreement you make with the other person, it is simply more difficult to say no to someone else. Make an appointment with each other to discuss the results, positive and negative, on a fixed day.

Become aware that success comes through time and consistency!
