Monday Master Blog: Did you brush your teeth this morning?

I recently asked Fred that question.

“Of course!” Fred said, and proudly added, “I even do that 3 times a day.”
Nice!

And why do you brush your teeth 3 times a day?

“Ha, to take good care of my teeth, to have clean teeth and to avoid toothache.”
Logical, right?
Certainly!

But why do you only do that with your teeth?
Isn't the rest of your body important then?

For some reason we have taught ourselves that brushing our teeth is very important. Parents teach their children from an early age and it is a habit that we pass on from generation to generation.

Did you always enjoy brushing your teeth as a child?
No definitely not. But your parents made sure you persevered and made the habit your own.

What if we did that to our entire body? And not just our teeth?
What if we made it a habit to exercise enough every day? To train intensively several times a week? To eat healthy and nutritious food?

Of course, it is not easy to just change this and create new habits. Your brain doesn't like change and this time your parents may not help you either.
