Monday Master Blog: Do you recognize this mistake when changing your habits?

A big mistake you make when changing your habits is trying to do the same thing over and over again. After an exhausting day at work, you come home and take those two sweets again, even though yesterday you promised yourself not to do this again.

Then what is your plan for next time? Right, just tell yourself that it won't happen again and that it's okay this time. You will notice that it works occasionally, but unfortunately it is not an effective approach

What should you do at such a moment?

Do you really need what you want at that moment or is it actually something else?

Maybe you experience a lot of stress after a day of work? Maybe you're just hungry?

In the first case: what do you need to relax? Here I recommend something active; Sitting passively on the couch and watching a series is rarely very effective

In the second case: how can you ensure that you can eat a suitable and nutritious meal at that time? Does meal prepping help you? Do you have any other healthy options at home?

In short: 'trying harder' with the same approach over and over is not always the solution.
