Monday Master Blog: Get moving

Many people do not see sports as a priority. They choose to flop on the couch after a long day of work, for example. They see sports as a side issue and are tired from their work so they choose not to do it. Or they have other priorities such as their social contacts. Yet they complain about their energy level, for example. They say they are tired at the end of the week and choose not to exercise over the weekend to refuel. Yet many people who make these choices do not see that exercise actually brings energy. For example, the hour you exercise in the morning provides energy for the rest of the day.

Exercising reduces the level of, for example, the stress hormone: cortisol. This gives you more energy and you sleep better at night. You also stimulate your blood circulation by exercising. This means, among other things, that more oxygen-rich blood enters your body and therefore also your brain. And that is in fact energy that allows you to concentrate better on certain tasks.

This provides an energy boost and allows you to complete all kinds of work satisfactorily. All this, in addition to the fact that exercising simply makes you physically stronger. You feel a lot less exhausted when walking stairs and other daily activities, for example.

In short, get moving and see how important it can be! On many different levels.
